This tool compensates for the lack of a proper search facility in Windows Explorer on Windows 7. It allows you to search for files with certain extensions in a folder and its sub-folders, and optionally, for a particular string within these files.
Multiple file type specifiers (File specs) can be separated by semicolons e.g. *.exe;*.dll;*.lib
You can copy the exe to your "Send To" folder and then when you are in Windows Explorer, you can right-click on a folder and choose "Send To > FindInFiles" to perform a search within this folder. (Your "Send To" folder is located in a hidden file called AppData under your user folder e.g. C:\Users\MY_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo)
